Introduction
Noela Yoga Wellness & Training offers a range of services to transform organisational wellbeing within the charity sector, companies, prisons, probation and correctional services. Our company facilitates organisational growth through lived experience and research-informed bespoke projects, that are inclusive and progressive.
We feel passionately about supporting organisations and creating a safe environment where everyone can grow, to ultimately build capacity, resilience and staff retention, whilst preventing burnout and harmful stress-levels.
Noela Yoga is founded by Noel Moran. Noel served 15 years of a life sentence. One would say that is a hell of a long time to be incarcerated, or Noel would say that is a hell of a long time to search inwards, find yourself and reflect. His custodial journey has been a hardship for everyone involved. Noel has paid the price severely for his involvement in the offence which led him to becoming incarcerated, he found a way to turn the negatives into an enormous positive. He found himself, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Noel created Noela Yoga whilst serving his sentence with a combination of his own Mindfulness Based Yoga and custodial experience, along with his teaching knowledge and expertise he picked up from working with staff and residents along the way. He created Noela Yoga because he has seen first-hand the benefits of his Yoga classes alone have in helping so many individuals on all levels. He thought about how he could reach people on another level and open a new world for them especially in a time of hardship. As a serving prisoner himself at the time, he has a vast understanding of how fellow residents feel and is able to pass on the best coping mechanisms to deal with prison-life in a calm, positive and pro-social manner.

NOEL MORAN
Director
Wellness Expert
Along the path of his custodial journey, Noel witnessed a significant amount of loss and pain, which he had to go through himself and watch other men break and crumble in front of his very eyes. He feels this is where his drive comes from in wanting to help others who are going through a difficult time whether that’s in custody or in the community. He is passionate about wanting to make a difference and feels there is no better feeling than someone coming up to him after a training session telling how stress-free they feel and feel opened up to a new world.
Within custody Noel became a qualified level 4 Yoga teacher and went on to deliver over 4000 hours of training before his release. He is now an experienced operational expert, delivering bespoke training to frontline professionals nationally and internationally. He is an accredited Training 4 Influence facilitator, business manager of an international growth training company, and a board member of multiple charities.
